Selkirk had injury problems of their own, with Chris Kemp (dislocated thumb) and Ryan Crockatt (knee strain) both having to leave the field, their places being taken by Matt Robertson and Scott Tomlinson. There was no further scoring in the half, which left Selkirk 7-0 in front at the interval.
